According to a Facebook user, Christian Mfon Jornsen, the first rain of the year in Port Harcourt, wrecked havoc to properties. Mr. Jornsen shared the photos on his Facebook page with the status update;

''First rain of the year...
Lucky me. I was about passing this route when it showed signs of rain. I decided to wait up a client. Then this...
We are rich enough to run all these lines underground with proper regulations but all Government knows both past and present is to steal funds...
Youths, we need to arise... I'm not going to ask y'all to pray as usual....''

Tonto Dikeh's husband and PA Rose Meurer spotted partying at night club (Photos)

The photos of Tonto Dikeh's husband and her PA Rose Meurer, partying together at Quilox, was posted on Quilox IG page. The pics were posted a week ago, around the same time news of marital issues hit the internet.

The comment circled in red caught my attention, so I decided to scroll through and lo and behold, Tonto Dikeh's husband Churchill was also at the club on the same day.

Do PA go to club with bosses?

In her denial ,she told Hip Tv (watch video)

It is irritating to the ears, it’s just like saying are you sleeping with your brother.

"This is someone who is a mentor to me, this is someone I look up to. He has a good heart, there is no one that would not want to be identified with someone that has a good heart, someone that gives a helping hand. I’m very sure that being managed by Big Church Foundation I’m very sure I have a very bright future.

"I really have nothing much to say about this because it’s really irrelevant to me. They are in peace, they are happy, I don’t know about what you people are saying but you guys should get your facts straight before you bring such things out, it’s really not relevant to me. Generous person.I’m not going to say much about it. I remain to be under Big Church Foundation and he is family to me, his wife is family to me, we’ve hung out together before and I don’t see a big deal there; people should stop saying what they don’t know”,

On Tonto's marriage,she said

They are all false, I don’t see why they aren’t false. Does anybody have proof of anything that their marriage is not right or what? There’s no proof of any of that, none of them is complaining, they are living their lives in their home. I don’t know why people will just bring up stories, it doesn’t make sense, I don’t know why people won’t mind their business and leave a happy family to be happy, just mind your business”, she said.

Why I joined APC – Ken Nnamani

A former Senate President, Chief Ken Nnamani, on Sunday formally joined the All Progressives Congress.

Nnamani was a member of the Peoples Democratic Party.

The former Senate President, who is currently the head of the Electoral Reform Committee set up by President Muhammadu Buhari, registered as a member of the APC at his country home in Amechi-Uwani, in Enugu South Local Government Area of Enugu State.

The development followed the commencement of the party’s re-registration exercise in Enugu State and other parts of the South-East.

The PUNCH had exclusively reported that the APC in the South-East was embarking on a fresh registration, following the crash of the party’s database in the zone, which led to the disappearance of records of registered members.

Nnamani’s registration was witnessed by some leaders of the party in the zone, including the Vice Chairman, APC South-East, Chief Emma Eneukwu; Director-General, Voice of Nigeria, Mr. Osita Okechukwu; Chairman, Enugu State chapter of the party, Dr. Ben Nwoye; and the chairman of the registration committee, Rev. Tony Ibeabuchi.

A bunch of brooms was presented to Nnamani after he registered as a member of the APC.

Addressing the gathering of APC members who witnessed the event, Nnamani said he was joining the ‘winners’, adding that he would not mind if his action was interpreted as ‘opportunism’.

“I like to identify with potential winners, if that makes me an opportunist, so be it,” Nnamani said.

The former Senate President said it was a thing of joy for him to join “those who have kept the flag of the APC flying.”

Although he added that he would make his reasons for joining the APC known during a public declaration, which is planned for a later date, Nnamani explained that he had left the PDP since February 6, 2016.

He said he had been on a ‘political sabbatical’ since then.

Stressing that ‘one cannot remain without a political party,” Nnamani said he had to join the APC, which he said had more chances of delivering the dividends of democracy to Nigerians than his former party, the PDP.

He declared that the PDP was dead.

But he also observed that the APC was not perfect.

He said, “In the politics of our nation, if you look carefully and read between the lines, you will not ask somebody who is on his way back from the market to buy something for you, such a person will not get anything for you; but if you ask somebody who is on his way to the market to buy something for you, he is more likely to get it for you.

“I noticed that the APC has all it takes, but it is not perfect yet. We will join hands to make it near perfect.”

Nnamani said his decision to join the APC was informed by his conscience.

He explained, “I am acting according to my conscience; many people will criticise me that I am abandoning a party that helped me to attain a high level politically.  February 6, 2016, was the day I left the PDP and went into political sabbatical.

“Our (Nigeria’s) constitution does not allow independent candidates; so, I cannot remain ‘partyless’.

“Now that change is going on in the country, one cannot remain rigid.”

Nnamani argued that it would be better for the Igbo to join the APC.

He noted, “The South-East has a role to play in our nation; we can’t play that role from outside. We have to be inside to play our role in Nigeria.

“Even if we want to ask that imbalances in the country should be corrected, we have to ask for that from inside.

“You cannot stay outside to criticise; it is not about being confrontational.

“I am not condemning any party or anybody, but since you cannot be an independent candidate, you have to join a political party, even if it is not yet perfect.

“But then, even those who stayed 16 years (in power) could not achieve perfection; so, we have a better chance to support a party we can help and build to achieve perfection.”

Noting that political parties were like churches and markets, he said nobody should be prevented from joining.

“I am not hiding it that I want to identify with the APC, and I will do that boldly. In time, I will tell my supporters that this is where the road is,” Nnamani said.

The former Senate President warned those who had ulterior motives against joining the APC.

He said, “Don’t play the role of the APC in the day and the PDP at night; you should not join the APC because you are running from one tribunal or the other.”

Nnamani urged members of the APC to encourage others to join their fold.

“Encourage others to register; you have no reason to block anybody from registering, even if you don’t like his face.

“A party is as strong as the members. In a church, if the membership is going down, a good church administrator will encourage new members so that he can get more tithe,” he said.

The APC chairman in Enugu State, Nwoye, said the occasion was the party’s proudest moment in the South-East.

“Today is the proudest moment of the APC in Igboland; today, that dream of ‘change’ begins to manifest in the South-East,” he added.

Us-Based Porn Producer Offers Actress Anita Joseph N1.4m Every 2 Weeks (Pics)

Actress Anita Joseph rains curses on man who offered her adult film role

Rejects $3000 fortnightly pay cheque

Being a celebrated movie star always comes at a price. And taking up some extreme roles may come at even bigger price. This is something, Nollywood diva, Anita Joseph is learning the hard way as the ghosts of her role in the movie ‘Open and Close’ are beginning to haunt her.

Like every other day, the actress opened her Instagram account on Monday, alas, a message was waiting for her. An offer from a man in US, who calls himself Lonestarboy1, offering her 3,000 dollars fortnightly for a role in a porn film but this got on the wrong side of the actress who resorted to cursing him in both English and her Igbo language. Here is an excerpt of their chat.
Man: It’s two weeks adult film. If you are interested, we plan your visa to come here and you gonna do an audition and if we see you got what it takes, then you got yourself a job. It’s all up to you.

Anita: So, you are into production?

Man: Something like that but it’s adult film only… Only if you are interested.

Anita: And you don’t know a movie storyline when you see one. You are very stupid.
Man: Am sorry, what?

Anita: Don’t ever in your entire…..if some actresses in my country do it, well, I don’t.
Man: Yeah, I truly understand

Anita: Am cursing you in my dialect. Aramasguogiri.

Man: I was just offering something

Anita: Gerrof my page. Ka Jehovah bara ghi mba. Take your offer somewhere else or miss.

At this point, the man turned it into a joke and sent his nude photo, from torso down, telling her he just wants to have sex with her. Praising her figure, saying she has a very sexy backside that would suit his six-inch down-below (manhood). But all these entreaties were met with more curses from the actress. Then, he returned to negotiating again:

Man: Seriously, $3000 is in it. Who turns $3000 down?

Anita: I will block you. And this your message and d**k will be all over social media. Don’t mess with me no more. Give your mum mask and sisters to work for you.

Man: I act adult film, no one knows it’s me.. And I’m proud to have six inches manhood. Just think about this offer. You gonna be able to live in the US but honestly you don’t need to block me. The acting ain’t full time, it’s just part time.

To be honest, the job is real. Why I said it was a joke is because I ain’t wanna see you get pissed off. But seriously, you gonna turn down $3000 every two weeks? No one In Africa is gonna know it’s you. My team gonna give you a mask. You wear the mask, do your scene, you get paid. Seriously, who turns down $3000

Anita: Don’t ever in your miserable life send sh*t into my Dm again. I interpreted a movie role well and to you it means I can do adult film. Chineke kpikwa gi oku.
Man: Some actresses in your country industry do it.
Anita: Some actresses in my country can do it, well, I don’t.

Man: We just watched a movie you acted named ‘Open and Close’ and we thought about offering you a job in US where you could be making about $3000 every two weeks. If you are interested email us at kaneharry833@gmail.com or we could discuss more here. My boss is Victoriahascakes. You could search her here on Instagram.
Anita : What kind of job is that? This job you make $3000 every two weeks must be a sinful job.

We transfer victims’ funds with their phones —Suspect (Photo)

A suspected, David Lucky, who is one of the three persons arrested by the  operatives of Edo State Police Command, has opened up on how he and members of his gang transferred money from their victims’ accounts to their own accounts, using their victims’ phones.

Lucky told Southern City News that the sum N210, 000 was transferred from the accounts of three of their victims on the eve of the New Year through the code of a popular commercial bank.

He said, “We transferred money from people’s account. We used to work for a telecoms company. When we see people with big phones, we told them that they could watch satellite TV stations on their phones. We also offered to help them with their subscription.

“Through that process, we also transferred money from people’s accounts. We transferred N100, 000 each from the accounts of two individuals and N10, 000 from another account. We did it on the eve of the New Year.”

The 19-year-old suspect said one of their victims alerted the police when she discovered a deduction in her account and raised the alarm.

The suspect said, “The person from whose account we transferred N100, 000 saw us when we were going home and held my friend, who transferred the money and demanded his money.

“From there, we were arrested and taken to New Benin. I regret everything. My dad is late but my mum was fed up with me because of what I did.”

Lucky and two others were arrested by the Edo State Police Command for allegedly engaging in cybercrime and other fraudulent activities in Benin metropolis.

They were said to have been arrested at Upper Mission Road in Oredo Local Government Area of the state, after allegedly defrauding a woman around New Benin.

Lucky and other suspects (each aged 19 years) identified as Louis Ogidamen and Theophilus Oko, had posed as registration agents for a telecoms company.

It was learnt that they offered to register the SIM cards of their victims.

They were also alleged to have offered to assist their victims to enable financial transactions on their mobile phones and in the process, transferred money from the victims’ accounts to their own account.

The Commissioner of Police, Haliru Gwandu, confirmed the arrest, adding that the suspects were under investigation.
